i was constantly swapping calls with my friend, she was checking to see if i was okay, because i was alone on my trip.
But then i met you.
I remember it really clearly to be honest, it was raining so much!
i got soaked while i was waiting at the station, luckily i had my hair dryer and straighteners at hand.
By the time I’d dried my hair it was time to board my train.
I got on and found a seat by the window with an socket to plug my hair straighteners in.
They wouldn’t exactly fit so after some force full shoving, and a few aggressive words i plugged them in.
You where the seat opposite me. & you said, ‘dont plug those in, it wont carry the fuse!’
Startled by this i unplugged them and turned around to talk to you.
You told me how the train couldn’t take such a small fuse and i could stop the entire train.
I explained how my hair would be fluffy.
You said, it would look good either way.
We started talking, although we never exchanged names.
You told me how you was getting the train to the airport, because you was moving to Tokyo for a new job you had got
You explained how there was so much more out there, to the world.
I don’t remember much, but i remember how intelligent and warm you where.
We only spent 2 hours together, laughing, getting to know each other.
You asked for my email adress i have you it. you said you’d email as soon as you got settled in, In Tokyo.
I got to my stop, and we said goodbyes.
It was strange from then on I’d think about you from time to time.
Hell, we dont even know each others name’s.
You said you’d email me, but you never did..
although you asked me for my address.
i guess you just forgot. It happens all the time, i wouldn’t be surprised.
i just want to say my name is Carla.
and i met you on a train.
